WELCOME TO WOMEN’S LIFT LAB!

Women’s Lift Lab is a clinically focused health and fitness facility. It is a dedicated space for women to train and improve their quality of life in a private setting. What we do at the lift lab goes beyond exercise. We pick you up and address your health needs where others may have left off. These include metabolic and musculoskeletal conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), arthritis, osteopenia, and knee/hip/back pain. Each member will receive an individualized health consultation where we will discuss your goals and develop a sustainable nutrition and exercise strategy. Live long and get strong!

Founders

The idea for Women’s Lift Lab came about because there were no private facilities where women could focus on developing muscle and strength in a private setting. Traditional women’s gyms had more cardio machines than barbells and more group dance classes than kettlebells. We wanted to provide a facility where women could build their confidence, improve their strength, all while making positive health changes!

MeeT Hailey, Exercise physiologist

Hailey graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology. She has participated in sports such as competitive swim, ballet, and weightlifting. As to why she enjoys training: “I love how strong and confident I feel when I start my day with a good lift!”

Outside of the gym, Hailey loves to stay active by hiking local trails and running with her dog!

Meet Emily, Exercise Physiologist

My name is Emily and I’m a 4th-year student majoring in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology at the University of Florida. I have experience in Olympic weightlifting and very proficient in the Snatch and Clean and Jerk. I plan to attend medical school in 2-years. I have been understudying at the lift lab since 2023, where my own training and knowledge of the body have truly transformed. I enjoy teaching all of our members and am inspired by seeing them grow in confidence as they begin to lift heavier weights or do an exercise they couldn’t do before. Resistance training has been a wonderful stress reliever for me and I hope it can take that role for our members!

Meet Rebecca, Exercise Physiologist

Hey y’all! My name is Rebecca but you can call be Becca. I am a senior at the University of Florida majoring in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. I’m from Fort Myers, Florida and I previously lived in Melbourne, Florida. I have already accepted my invitation to attend physical therapy school and one day work as a Pediatric Physical Therapist.

In my free time, I like to play pickleball, cook, and go to farmers and craft markets with friends!
